The fan-favorite cricket league of IPL is postponed for quite a long time now due to the heavy spread of coronavirus. But luckily it is going to resume in just a few days from now. #5 Rashid Khan (10 wickets)

The immensely talented Afghan spinner ranks fifth in the list with 100 wickets to his name. He plays for SRH. Rashid has a good economy of 6.14 with a bowling average of 17.20, playing 7 matches so far in this IPL before the tournament was delayed midway. His best of the season so far is 3/36, with his capabilities he can improve a lot.

#4 Rahul Chahar (11 wicket taken)

Rahul Chahar caught a lot of attention this year with his fantastic spin bowling. The MI bowler has picked a total of 11 wickets so far with a bowling average of 18.36 along with an economy of 7.21. His season-best so far is 4/27.

#3 Chris Morris (14 wicket taken)

The South African all-rounder turned out to be an excellent recruit for RR. Morris has grabbed a total of 14 wickets so far, performing consistently with both ball and bat. He has an economy of 8.61 with a bowling average of 16.00. 4/23 is his season-best so far in this year’s IPL.

#2 Avesh Khan (14 wickets)

The pacer from DC has stunned everyone this year with an unexpected performance. The talented Indian has taken 14 wickets in total so far in this year’s IPL. He has got a bowling average of 16.50 with an economy of 7.70. Avesh has got a figure of 3/32 as his best this season which he can surely improve given his capabilities.

#1 Harshal Patel (17 wickets) – most wickets in IPL 2021 so far

Harshal Patel is a big name in Indian domestic cricket and has the most wickets in IPL 2021. Representing RCB this year, he has grabbed 17 wickets so far. Harshal is in excellent form and has bowled with an economy of 9.17 with 15.11 being his bowling average. He has bowled an excellent spell of 5/27 this season which is also his best figure till now in this year’s competition. Harshal will be looking to win the purple cap at the end of the season.
