DC won the toss and elected to bowl. RCB again today couldn’t do much. Anuj Rawat went for a golden duck and Faf du Plessis too went for 8. RCB was 13/2 in 2.3 overs. Glenn Maxwell and Virat Kohli then took the charge, steadying RCB over the powerplay. But in the seventh over Lalit Yadav‘s incredible precise throw resulted in Kohli’s runout. With Prabhudessai at the other Maxwell smashed 55 in 34 balls until Kuldeep Yadav sent him back to the hut in the twelfth over. After which Shahbaz Ahmad and Dinesh Karthik played a fantastic knock adding over 90 runs. Karthik smashed an unbeaten 66 runs in just 34 balls. RCB made 189/5.

IInd Inning
Delhi openers gave Delhi a solid start, but soon Prithvi Shaw was dismissed by Siraj to give RCB their first breakthrough. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh stabilised Delhi’s innings in the middle overs. Warner went back to the pavilion in the 12th over. He scored 66 in just 38 balls. Then wickets for DC kept falling like bowling pins and Delhi started to lose its run pace. Only Rishabh Pant scored some significant runs but he too was dismissed as Virat Kohli grabbed a one handed toe end catch. Hazelwood picked 3 wickets with Siraj grabbing 2 as DC scored 173/7 in their inning.

Dinesh Karthik won the Man of the match award for his fabulous explosive hitting of 66 in 34 balls. He hit 5 boundaries and 5 gigantic sixes.
