Anuj Rawat was born on the 17th of October, 1999 in a village of Ramnagar in Uttarakhand. The village is called Rooppur. There, Anuj went to practice after his father had enrolled him in a cricket academy, few kms away from their home of the village. However, after he was 10 years old, his cricketing coach saw the potential he had as a cricketer. Therefore, he advised his parents to permanently move to Delhi in order to provide sufficiently to Anuj for his cricketing needs.
