T20 World Cup 2022 (16th October – 13th November)
The T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in Australia. This is the second time that the tournament will be held in consecutive years. The tournament currently comprises 16 teams. West Indies has been the most successful team with a totality of 2 titles since the tournament’s inception. Unfortunately, India only won 3 out of their 5 group stage matches in the 2021 edition, thereby failing to make it to the semi-finals. Team India is busy pulling up their socks as they aim to bring the trophy home.

This has been India’s cricket schedule for 2022 up till now. This might be subject to change given the fluctuating waves of the Covid-19 pandemic. Continuing with the December 2021 away series in South Africa as of now, India will sign off 2022 with a home series against Sri Lanka. Without a doubt, this year has a lot in store for cricket-crazy heads. Rowing past through the indelible 2021, now all eyes are set on the eventful 2022. May the Men in Blue reign and pull off wonders like never before. At last, I would like to conclude by saying that we shall always #BleedBlue!
