Punjab got its first breakthrough as Rabada dismissed MI skipper Rohit Sharma who looked in good touch today in the fourth over. Next over Vaibhav Arora dismissed Kishan for 3. Then, Dewald Brevis and Tilak Varma anchored MI’s run chase. Brevis missed his well deserved half century by 1, he even fired back to back sixes in the 10th over. Tilak made an important 36 in 20 balls. With wickets falling at important intervals MI’s run chase couldn’t keep up with the asking rate. Lately, Surya Kumar Yadav fired 43 runs in 30 balls as MI ended their run chase at 186/9. Odean Smith bagged 4/30 in his 3 overs with Rabada picking a couple.
