In the first Inning, Gujarat Lions (GL) set a good target of 184 runs but the real party began in the second inning where the KKR opening pair Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn vandalized the GL bowling lineup. This partnership solely achieved the target of 184 runs with ease. In which Chris Lynn barely missed his century at 93* runs and Gautam Gambhir scored 76 runs.

Warner and Bairstow made the history of partnership in the 2019 IPL. The pair scored 185 runs on 2nd wicket. In which Jonny Bairstow made his first IPL Century 114 runs and David Warner also hit a century with 100 runs. They won this match with a huge margin of 118 runs.

5. David Warner and Naman Ojha – 189* Deccan Chargers vs Delhi Daredevils(2012)

Gilchrist and Marsh’s explosive innings rank third in most run partnerships. Scoring 206 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2011 edition in which Adam Gilchrist scored 106 runs and Shaun Marsh scored 79 runs. 2. Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers – 215* RCB vs MI(2015)

In this partnership, Virat Kohli scored 82 runs and AB De Villers hit 133 runs.They made a 2nd wicket partnership of 215* runs against Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL (2015). MI made a comeback of 196 but fell short of 39 runs.

The duo played an inning which is one of the most famous. And still is greatest partnerships of all time. They broke their previous record of 215* runs and broke every record of partnership in IPL history. They both hit their centuries in which Virat Kohli made 109 runs in 55 balls. AB De Villers made 129 runs in 52 balls. And made the match totally one sided.
