The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is a sports arena in Sydney, Australia. It is used for Twenty20, Test, and One Day International cricket. On the verge of formation since 1809, the first Test match was played at the SCG between 17 February and 21 February 1882. In 1894 the ground finally received its modern name, the Sydney Cricket Ground. Don Bradman first went to the stadium to see the fifth test of the Australia vs England series in the 1920–21 season. The cricket season of 1928–1929 was the biggest. In December 1928, Australia and England played in front of the SCG’s record-breaking crowd of 58,446 spectators.
