According to the English media, Chelsea are preparing a bid for Christopher Nkunku who is an RB Leipzig winger in the Austrian League. Chelsea are said to be looking to improve their attack this transfer window, but with Manchester United trying to hijack the move, Chelsea need to make a decision soon. Nkunku has been in his finest form for Leipzig this season as he has over 50 goal contributions in all competitions which clearly shows that he is one of the best young player currently with insane potential.

Just 2 years remaining on his deal, Leipzig are looking at the option of selling him if a terrific offer arrives. This was also backed by the Austrian and English media that Leipzig would be open to negotiate a move if a considerable offer of at least 50 Million euros is made. Then there is also the possibility of new owners of Chelsea investing heavily in their first year in charge, they may look to make a ‘statement signing’ for the fans.
Nkunku has enjoyed a rapid rise in form and excellence this season, he is definitely in the list of many of the major clubs in Europe. Hence Chelsea need to make a decision wisely as he is quite a risky signing and there is a concern that he could turn like Timo Werner. All in all,Chelsea need to take a quick decision as United are already knocking on Leipzig’s door for the Frenchman.
