The ICC Award 2021 is the 17th edition of the ICC Awards. The nominations considered the performance of the athletes from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. The announcement of the ICC World XI Team took place on January 19th and 20th, 2022. The Women’s Award was announced on January 23, 2022. It is shown below. So here is the list of women’s ICC awards for 2021.
Smriti Mandhana
Smriti Mandhana of India was named the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year for 2021. In 2021, Mandhana scored 855 runs at an average of 38.86 in 22 internationals, including one century and five half-centuries. Smriti Mandhana, India’s opening batswoman, earned the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Award for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year for 2021 on Monday. Despite India’s challenging year in 2021, Mandhana’s stock has risen this year. Mandhana was instrumental in both of India’s victories in the limited-overs series against South Africa, which saw India win just two of eight matches at home. She achieved 80 no-outs as India drove off 158 in the second ODI that helped level the series and won 48 no-outs in the final T20I victory.
Mandhana ended in a draw with a great 78 innings in the first innings of a one-off test with England. She played 49 important shots in India’s only victory in the ODI series. However, the T20I series 15 balls 29 and 50 were wasted as India lost the 21 series due to a shortage in both games. She also made India’s first pink ball test even more memorable by breaking her first century in the longest form. Their innings ended at 127 after putting India in a strong position. The match ended in a draw and Mandhana was declared the best player.
Lizelle Lee
South African batter Lizelle Lee was named ICC Women’s ODI Cricket Player of the Year after finishing as the top run scorer in this format in 2021. The world’s highest-ranked batter, Lee, recorded 632 runs in 11 games, averaging 90.28 including the 1st and 5th centuries. She played a central role in the ODI series against India last March, scoring 288 runs while South Africa scored 41 wins. During the third game of the series in Lucknow, she achieved her best single score by recording an undefeated 132 to help the team win a narrow victory. She was finally nominated as a player in the series.

Tammy Beaumont
Tammy Beaumont, an English wicket-keeper batter, was named the 2021 ICC Women’s T20I Cricket Player of the Year. Beaumont is England’s Lang Player of the Year on the T20I and the third best in the world. In the low-scoring series with New Zealand, Beaumont was the top scorer and was named the player in the 102-run series in three games. The 53-ball 63 in the second game put England in a winning position after losing two wickets in power play. She scored a stunning 50 points against India, but to no avail after the sub-division collapsed. Beaumont continued to enjoy New Zealand while visiting England for a limited tour. She finished the series again as the best Lang setter at 113, including the stunning 97 in the opening game of the series.
Fatima Sana
Fatima Sana, a 20-year-old Pakistani pacesetter, was also impressive in 2021 and ICC has awarded her the ICC Women’s Emerging cricket player for the 2021 Women’s International Cricket. Her overall performance has made her a staple of Pakistan’s ODI and T20I teams. Besides she played at her home, Sana toured Bangladesh, West Indies, South Africa and Zimbabwe, providing an impressive all-round performance overall. Eighteen of her 24 goals a year were achieved in 11 games she played against the West Indies. She recorded impressive results of 28 *, 22 *, 17 * against strong players such as West Indies, South Africa and Zimbabwe as she was the 8th batter.
Andrea-Mae Zepeda
Andrea May Zepeda was named as the ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Zepeda had a dream year in international play, recording 361 carries on eight T20Is with an average of 51.57 and a batting average of 102.55, including the 1st and 1950s. Of the eight T20Is she played this year, three played against Belgium and the other five against Italy. Zepeda was particularly devastating to the Belgians in her series, scoring over 50 points in all three games, including her first century. Zepeda’s most impressive performance was the first T20I in the triathlon series against Belgium.
