Over the years, we’ve seen some jaw-dropping knocks from batsmen in the T20 format. T20s have been cherished by the younger demographic as it promises non-stop cricketing action. The fastest fifties, fastest hundreds all have one thing in common: setting the stage on fire with those massive sixes. Sixes may be considered to be the prominent currency of the T20s. This article pays tribute to such era-defining knocks. Therefore, here’s a list of the top five players with the most sixes in a T20I inning.
5. Evin Lewis – 12 sixes vs India, 2017
Dropped while batting on 55 by Dinesh Karthik, Lewis made sure that the Indians paid a hefty price. Lewis carried on his innings without a hiccup as the onslaught resumed. With his unbeaten 125, Lewis helped West Indies romp to a nine-wicket win over the Men-in-Blue.

One of the many hidden gems in the T20I archives does feature a sensational knock from one Richard Levi. The opener burst into the scene from out of nowhere with a staggering 45-ball ton. His inning was the fastest hundred by any batsman in T20Is till that point as it rained sixes that infamous night in Hamilton. Capping off the list, we have Afghanistan’s pinch-hitter Hazratullah Zazai.
