A respected pacer, he was even named in the ‘Team of the Tournament’ for the 2016 T20 World Cup by the ICC. Ashish Nehra is the fifth fastest bowler to take 100 wickets in the IPL. It took him 83 matches to reach this milestone. In 88 matches across all seasons, he has 106 wickets under his name at an economy rate of 7.80.

4. Amit Mishra

Next up, we have Amit Mishra, an attacking right-arm leg-break bowler. Currently playing for Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL, he has represented India in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. Just like Ashish Nehra, he too completed his 100-wicket mark in 83 matches. Associated with the IPL since its inaugural season, he has played 154 matches. Amit Mishra has taken 166 wickets so far along with an economy rate of 7.35. Furthermore, he is the second-highest wicket taker in the history of IPL with 166 wickets after Lasith Malinga.

3. Yuzvendra Chahal

A leg-break bowler, Chahal was the second player and first Indian to take a 6-wicket haul in T20I history.
