He was the sixth Englishman to win the award and the second to win the Golden Boot . Owen received his first award in the 1997-98 season when he scored 18 goals representing Liverpool FC. He made it two consecutive wins the following season with the same 18 goals for the Reds.
3.Harry Kane – Golden Boots – 3 times
Tottenham Hotspur forward and captain Harry Kane is the first player in the current EPL era to be awarded three Golden Boots. He returned to his best form once again in the 2003-04 season when Arsenal went unbeaten throughout the season and won the league title. He scored 30 goals.
