Yuzvendra Chahal Recreates “Favourite Pose” At “Favourite Ground”

Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, reenacted his famous World Cup 2019 gesture on Saturday, lying on his side during a game. He referred to the posture as his “favourite,” and what made the event more special was his decision to repeat it in Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Before joining Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, Chahal played for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The surface was referred to by Chahal as his “favourite.”

Taking to Twitter, Chahal shared a photo of himself lying on the ground, and he captioned the post as: “Favourite Pose, Favourite Ground.”

Chahal shared a dressing room with players for the Rajasthan Royals in this year’s IPL, including Ravichandran Ashwin, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson. He was a significant member of the Rajasthan Royals side that made it to the final and won the Purple Cap this year after grabbing 27 wickets in 17 games.

Chahal last played during the ODI series against the West Indies, winning seven wickets in the process. The forthcoming Asia Cup, which starts on August 27, will be the leg-next spinner’s opportunity to shine. On August 28 in Dubai, India will face Pakistan in their opening game.

Chahal played 113 matches for the RCB in the IPL, taking 139 wickets. Chahal also participated in one game for the Mumbai Indians in the 2013 campaign.
