In place of captain Eoin Morgan, Moeen Ali scored 63 off 28 balls, including four sixes in a row. Ali hits an explosive 63 off 28 balls, including seven sixes and four fours following consecutive fours off Holder, before he captures two wickets as West Indies finish on 159-5 in pursuit of 194 runs.

First Innings
England were batting in the first innings and lost their first wicket in the 1.6th over to Jason Holder. Tom Banton was able to put up just 4 runs on board. Opener, Jason Roy was smashing 3 sixes and 5 fours, and eventually leading to a well-deserved half century. Immediately after losing his wicket, James Vince, who was also looking quite good with the bat, also lost a wicket. This was when the stand-out player of the match, Moeen Ali started destroying the West Indies bowlers with his 7 massive sixes and a boundary. As Moeen Ali tries to start the final over, a slower short ball by Jason Holder took his wicket. He got 63 runs from 28 balls. Therefore, their team could put up 193/6 on the score-board. The West Indies bowler, Jason Holder got 3 wickets for 44 runs.
Second Innings
The second innings started off on a good note for the West Indies. Openers, Brandon King and Kyle Mayers put up a partnership of 64 runs. Also, Moeen Ali not only did a great job with the bat, but also with the ball by getting the wickets of the opening batters of West Indies. Nicholas Pooran hit 2 sixes and got 22 runs, keeping the middle-order competitive spirit, but then he got out. Jason Holder was another player who made the second innings interesting by putting up 36 runs. This included 3 sixes and 2 boundaries, but eventually he got out as well. The West Indies batters were unable to score enough runs and they just had 159/5 by the end of the innings. This led to England winning by 34 runs.
