Gujarat Titans have been on a winning spree until last night. As they registered their first loss, were outplayed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in all departments. The new franchise has been in great form. Opener Shubhman Gill, finisher Tewatia, bowlers Rashid Khan and Mohammad Shami along with skipper Hardik Pandya have shown great intent and abilities. Before the start of IPL, everyone was skeptical about seeing Hardik as a captain. However, in the first few matches, he was praised. But, his behavior last night is been talked about. Pandya got angry over senior Indian player Mohammad Shami.
Fans begin talking that Hardik isn’t good at taking losses. Till the team was in great form, he has been good. But as he witnessed the match getting off his grip, he lost his temper. Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson have given a good, stable start. And SRH has got a firm grip on the match. In the 13th over, Kane has smashed Hardik with 2 sixes back-to-back. Shami had a chance to catch Rahul Tripathi on the third man. Had Shami run forward he could’ve taken the catch. But he decided to collect the ball at the bounce. Pandya lost his temper. However, the catch didn’t seem very difficult. At this Hardik has lost his temper and was seen yelling at the senior pacer.

SRH decided to bowl first. Gujarat begins their batting line-up with Wade and the in-form Shubhman Gill. However, Gujarat Titans lost Shubhman’s wicket early. Skipper, Hardik became the best performer with the bat for the team. He has scored a half-ton in 42 deliveries. Abhinav Manohar’s cameo turned out to be very important for the team. So, GT had put 162 runs on board. SRH started strong as Abhishek Sharma has been in good form since their last encounter against CSK. He smashed 42 off 32 against Gujarat. Moreover, skipper Kane Williamson stood strong smashing 57 off 46. Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram remained not out and have led the team to an easy win. SRH won by 8 wickets.
