MS Dhoni unveiled the first look of his mythological graphic novel. Moreover, The novel is titled ‘Atharva: The Origin’. Former Indian skipper revealed the teaser himself. The preview features MSD on a battlefield. The former cricketer is seen fighting an army of demons. ‘Atharva; The Origin’ is an adaptation of an unpublished novel by Ramesh Thamilmani. However, The debutant author has been working on this project for quite a while now. This new-age graphic novel was announced in 2020. Interestingly, the retired Indian cricketer seems to be venturing into new avenues. Let us look at some unknown facts about Dhoni’s Mythological sci-fi series ‘Atharva: The Origin’.
While sharing the teaser on his official Facebook Handle, he said- “Happy to announce my new Avatar…. Atharva”. The Thala fans have been missing him since his appearances since retirement are less frequent. Consequently, the sci-fi series would get the benefit from it. MS Dhoni’s biopic also got a good response.

Dhoni Entertainment backs this touted to be a sci-fi series. Sakshi Dhoni manages Dhoni Entertainment founded in 2019. She had earlier shown an intention of producing the series based on this novel. Earlier, MSD’s wife has called it a thrilling series.

The secrets revealed by this Aghori could alter the myths of the ancient, beliefs of the existing and course of the forthcoming. We would like to ensure that we execute all the aspects of this universe and bring out every character and story to the screen, with as much precision as possible. Web-series fit our purpose better than adapting it into a feature film. “
