Novak Djokovic Grooves to Nadiyon Paar in Dubai at World Tennis League

On social media, a video of Novak Djokovic dancing to Nadiyon Paar at the World Tennis League in Dubai has gone viral. Djokovic appeared to be having fun while dancing to the beat of the well-known Indian song as the players prepared for the game. Big-name tennis players like Djokovic, Nick Kyrgios, Felix Auger Aliassime, Alexander Zverev. And among the women, World No. 1 Iga Switek, Simona Halep, and Elena Rybakina have all signed up for the World Tennis League. Along 4th rankedranked player Caroline Garcia.

“I’m very excited to anticipate what is going to be these next five days for us in the tournament, with music and entertainment and sports and tennis. I’m looking forward to it,”

Djokovic was earlier seen working out with Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum at Coca-Cola Arena’s recently constructed orange and blue court.

The World Tennis League features some of the world’s top tennis players. The format is especially distinctive because both singles and mixed doubles matches are played in two-set contests with the option of a 10-point tiebreaker.

Fans may also enjoy a performance including performers like Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren, who will perform on the opening and closing nights, respectively.

An Year of turmoil for Djokovic

Rajesh Banga, Chairman of World Tennis League, had said.

Djokovic travelled to Melbourne in January of this year in an effort to win his 10th Australian Open. The infamously unvaccinated Serbian, however, had his visa revoked. He was imprisoned at a hotel that hosted refugees before being expelled on the basis of “health and good order.”

Djokovic was also prohibited from entering the country. This prevented him from competing in the US Open. But he was still able to win his seventh Wimbledon championship in July. Novak will attempt to win a 22nd Grand Slam at the 2024 Australian Open after receiving approval to compete.
