Erling Haaland’s future is looking like it is going to be decided in a few days between Manchester City and Real Madrid who are in the race to sign Haaland. Surely his dad Alf-Inge Haaland would be delighted to see his son playing for City as he was himself a former Manchester City player. In the English media, it is widely reported that he has already agreed to personal terms with the Premier League club. It is assumed that the deal would make the Norwegian the highest-paid Premier League player as he would be likely earning well over 500,000 euros per week.

City are ready to trigger his 75 Million euros release clause this summer which surely won’t be a financial problem for Guardiola’s side. But recently Dortmund stated that nothing has been agreed yet between Haaland and City and they would be willing to offer Haaland a contract renewal. A lot of clubs are looking to sign him cause he is performing at his absolute best in the Bundesliga. He has scored 82 goals in 85 appearances and recently scored a hat trick against VFL Bochum although Dortmund lost that game 4-3.

But City would surely would be looking out for his injury record as he is quite injury prone cause he missed 28 games with Dortmund due to a lot of muscle injuries. This is why Real Madrid are in a dilemma to sign Haaland or not cause they had a terrifying experience with the arrival of Eden Hazard. So all in all, it is likely that everyone can see Haaland in a Man City shirt next season.
