According to widespread reports in England, it is believed that Liverpool are willing to go all-in to sign the Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez. It is assumed now that Liverpool are going t break their transfer record in order to get his signature. Nunez is liked by many of the top clubs in Europe which also includes Liverpool’s arch-rival Manchester United who are also studying the possibility to sign him this summer transfer window.

Nunez performed outrageously well last season with Benfica which resulted him being one of the most demanded players in all of Europe, ahead of the likes of even Harry Kane who is as good as a striker as him. His stats prove that he is a player that can revolutionalsie a club’s future in attack, because with an average Benfica team he managed to score 34 goals in all competitions and also managed to provide 4 assists.
Jurgen Klopp has very much given the ‘ok’ to sign the Uruguayan as he is highly impressed by his style of play. Liverpool’s management think that Nunez would be the perfect replacement of Sadio Mane who is expected to leave the club this summer and join Bayern Munich. But if the Merseyside team do try to sign Nunez, it is expected to cost around an astronomical figure of 90 Million Euros which could easily get raised provided a bidding war starts between the elite clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United and of course Liverpool.
