According to the Italian media, Arsenal are studying the possibility to sign the Argentine sensation Paulo Dybala who is without a club at the moment. The striker became a free agent this summer after his 7 years of journey at Juventus football club came to an end. Dybala was in negotiations with the Serie A side for a contract renewal for the past year but the Italian side considered his demands too much and hence decided not to renew him.

Since his departure from Juventus, Dybala was linked with Inter Milan a lot and both the clubs and the player thought that they might reach an agreement. However, now that Romelu Lukaku has returned to Inter from Chelsea on a loan deal, the Italian side have stalled the discussions with Dybala’s agent as of now. And because of this situation, the striker is considering offers from other clubs and one of those offers is from Arsenal who are very active in the market as they have already signed 4 new players for the next season. Dybala’s arrival would certainly bring experience and quality to Arteta’s side but there are also reports that the Gunners are not the only English side to bid for him as Manchester United are also looking to sign him given that Ronaldo might leave Old Trafford this summer.
But as a player Dybala is really incredible cause last season he had 20+ goal contributions as he scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists in all competitions. But despite his good qualityboth the clubs need to be aware of his injury records cause Dybala is quite an injury-prone player as he has missed a total of 37 games in the last 2 seasons. All in all, it would be interesting to see whether Dybala chooses to be Ronaldo’s replacement to or be a part of Arsenal and give competition to Gabriel Jesus.
