Lewandowski Transfer News: Bayern to sell him to Barcelona for 50 Million Euros?

Barcelona to bid soon?

According to reports, Robert Lewandowski is very close to join Barcelona this summer after he demanded that he wants to leave Bayern Munich. Last week it was made official that Barcelona board members had voted to sell their 50% stake in Licensing and Merchandising along with the 25% of their future television rights. Joan Laporta has also said that they are expecting an injection of around 700 Million Euros this summer from the deals they agreed on. This shows that the club are nearly back on track in terms of finances and now they could focus on their transfer plans.

It is believed that Barcelona and Bayern Munich will sit down to negotiate this week about Lewandoski’s transfer. The German club reportedly want at least 50 Million Euros for the striker as they did not even consider Barcelona’s first bid of 35 Million Euros. But now that they have signed Sadio Mane, it is highly possible that they could really sell the Polish International. Barcelona’s next offer is likely to be of 40 Million along with 10 Millions of add-ons, so this time they would be very close to Bayern’s valuation.

However, there is no doubt that Lewandowski is a clinical striker and he would surely give Barcelona the goals that they lacked since Messi left. The striker has scored 40+ goals in each of his last 6 seasons which is simply sensational and along with the goals he is extremely fit because in the last 6 years he has only missed 17 games due to injury. But some Bayern board members still say that Lewandowski would not be sold and he’ll be with the team next season. So it would be interesting to see if the Spanish Giants could agree on a deal with Bayern and if they do it would be extremely amazing to see Lewandowski play under Xavi.
