Srilankan Batting Debacle
Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bowl. Srilanka didn’t have a dreamy start. Losing their openers in the first two overs. With 106 needed in 120 deliveries, Afghanistan batters absolutely mutilated Srilankan bowlers, making no room for error. Afghanistan made their highest-ever score in the power play scoring 83 runs. Openers Hazratullah made a significant contribution of 37* in 28 balls, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a majestic inning of 40 runs in just 18 deliveries.
