SA vs ENG: England reverts with a win by an Innings and 85 Runs

England reverts in the series against South Africa

South Africa vs England, series leveled as Ben Stokes‘ lads revert after an unpleasant defeat in the first test match. Collective team performance made this comeback possible for team England in the 2nd Test of SA vs ENG series. Both bowling, as well as batting department, showcased a classic rendition of cricket.

After winning the toss Dean Alger opted to bat first. While England seemed to have an upper hand on the first day of 2nd Test of the series. As they managed to bundle up the Proteas on 151. The opening day of the second test was pretty much dominated by veteran English bowlers, James Anderson and Stuart Broad. As both of them gave England a good start by taking 3 wickets each. While Ollie Robinson and Jack Leach finished things up by the third session.


Coming in to bat, England finished the opening day at 111 for 3, trailing the visitors by 40 runs. Ben Stokes and Ben Foakes shine.
