With India Women touring Sri Lanka, the visitors are playing some phenomenal cricket. Today was the second ODI which India won comfortably by 10 wickets. They took a 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Meanwhile, India women wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia produced a no-look run-out, copying MS Dhoni’s style in the Ist inning today in the Pallekele stadium.
Widely regarded as one of the legendary wicket-keepers of all time, Dhoni used to surprise the batters with his unconventional yet effective keeping tricks. Be it taking one glove off in the death overs or the lightning speed stumpings. Dhoni was the master at arms. Among many of the signature moves, his no-look run-out was considered to be an art mastered only by him. However, Yastika Bhatia managed to pull off the lightning-fast run-out akin to Dhoni. Sri Lanka batter Anushka Sanjeewani was the victim of her adventure.

During the 23rd over of Sri Lanka’s innings, Anushka dabbed Deepti Sharma’s delivery to the leg side. She took a few steps ahead of the crease. Alerted behind the stumps, Yastika collected the ball and flicked it back to the stumps to catch the batter short of her crease.
Chasing 174 to win, the Women in Blue rode on Smriti Mandhana’s 94* and Shafali Verma’s 71* to get over the line with 146 balls to spare.
