His century off 49 balls also places him among the fastest centuries in IPL playoffs. Before this, the 23-year-old batter had hit tons against RCB and SRH. He also surpassed Virender Sehwag’s (122 for PBKS in 2014) for the highest individual score in an IPL Playoffs match.
Piyush Chawla dismissed Wriddhiman Saha at a score of 54. But he controlled one side and scored 129 off 60 deliveries before giving a wicket to Akash Madhwal. The right-handed batter was at his fluent best as he scored 7 fours and 10 sixes. Now it became his highest score in the IPL. His previous best was 104 against RCB in the last league match.

Shubman Gill loves to play at the Narendra Modi Stadium. He has already scored T20I and Test centuries at Ahmedabad. Also, his maiden ton against SRH came here.
