As days are nearing for the first IPL match to be played on March 26th. New announcements have been made every single day. Recently, the schedule and venue for the league matches were announced. A total of 7 matches will be played at 4 International standard stadiums in Maharashtra. This year the venues have been limited so that the travel needed is minimum, keeping in mind the Covid-19 scenarios. The group-level matches will be played from 26th March and 29th May. Moreover, some teams have also announced changes in their squads as a couple of players have backed off from the IPL stating bio-bubble fatigue. IPL Teams Jersey
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
Recently, RCB revealed their jersey for the season. RCB’s official Twitter handle introduced the new team jersey. The players will be wearing red and black T-shirts paired with red trousers. Moreover, the Sponsor’s name will be seen in the middle of the T-shirt. The first glance was shared after the RCB Unbox event. Interestingly, the athleisure collection’s design is inspired by Cosmic Space. This would mirror the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s relentless energy, bringing forth galaxies’ energies. Unlike last year, the jersey will have more black this time. Also, Faf du Plessis has been named as the team’s skipper. Virat Kohli also shared his views about both the jersey and the new captain. Royal Challengers Bangalore will kickstart their tournament by playing PBKS on 27th March at the DY Patil Stadium.

Mumbai Indians (MI)
The five-time winners Mumbai Indians also unveiled their jersey for IPL 2022. Their official Twitter handle made the announcement. Cobalt blue still remains to be the primary color. However, in the bottom half, a structured hexagonal design has been used in a combination of cobalt and navy blue colors. Moreover, gold has been present on the MI jersey since the inaugural season. It continues to be. As the golden stripes are going really well with the blue shades. It gives the jersey a royal look. They also have a new jersey sponsor Slice, this year. However, the Rohit Sharma-led team is not looking the strongest side. They will play their first match in IPL 2022 against Delhi Capitals on 27th March.
Delhi Capitals (DC)
The Rishabh Pant-led side will be donning a blue and red jersey with a tiger print on the front. Earlier, the DC jersey was dominated by shades of blue. This year, the primary color is continued as blue, red significantly dominates the team jersey this tournament. It radiates youthful and vibrant energy. The tiger, an intrinsic part of the Delhi Capitals is bigger and bolder, as the team is ready to roar again. While Red portrays the team’s courage on the field, blue symbolizes balance and composure. Following their ‘Fans First’ approach, Delhi Capitals‘ new jersey was presented to some selected fans at their home ground- Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. As a part of the activity curated, selected children from DC Cubs were also given the jerseys.
