ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will commence on October 16 in Australia. The inaugural match is to be played between Asia Cup 2022 champion team Sri Lanka and newcomer Namibia at Geelong Cricket Ground, Victoria. Moreover, the final is to be played on November 13 in Melbourne.
The first 12 out of 45 matches will be played amongst the teams in groups A and B. After the first round, the top two teams of each of the groups qualify for the Super 12. Furthermore, the rest of the 45 matches will be played between the teams divided into groups 1 and 2.
While team India will begin their journey against arch-rivals Pakistan on 23rd October. On that note, we present you with India’s squad and schedule details for the upcoming multi-nation tournament.
