Melbourne: T20 World Cup 2022 will commence on the 16th of October. The final will be played on the 13th of November. Cricket fans all around the world are eagerly waiting to see their respective nation battle for the throne of world T20 champions.
The inaugural match will be played between the Lanka Lions and the newcomer Namibia. Sri Lanka will enter the marquee tournament as the Asian Champions. After conquering the Indian-sub continent, Sri Lanka will like to present their contentions for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title.
Moreover, the 2014 champion team has been featured in all seven editions of the competition. Winning 27 matches out of 43, with a win percentage of 63.95, the highest amongst all. Sri Lanka will start their campaign by firstly competing in the group stage.
