ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will commence on October 16 in Australia. The inaugural match will be played between Sri Lanka and newcomer Namibia at Geelong Cricket Ground, Victoria. Moreover, the final is to be played on November 13 in Melbourne.
West Indies has featured in all seven editions of the T20 World Cup. Moreover, it is the only team to have won the title twice, in 2012 and 2016. Out of 36 total matches, the Windies have won 18 and lost 16. Hence, its win percentage is about 52.
The two-time champions, West Indies are drawn in Group B of the First Round of the marquee tournament. It will face Scotland, Zimbabwe, and Ireland before a possible place in the Super 12 stage of the competition.
