BCCI President Sourav Ganguly buys an INR 40-crore worth new house in Kolkata

Ganguly owns a luxurious 2-BHK apartment in North Harrow, London.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has bought a splendid mansion in Kolkata. The BCCI President has spent a mammoth amount on it. Earlier, Ganguly has been living in his ancestral house all his life. His parents’ home is located on Biren Roy Road, Behala. It was in the Behala locality that Ganguly has grown up playing cricket, and he went on to become one of India’s best cricketers. However, living in Central Kolkata would make commuting easier. Dada’s new address will be 8/1A Lower Rawdon Street. Sourav Ganguly bought the 23.6-kottah new house for a whopping INR 40-crore in central Kolkata. Moreover, his new house is located in a prime location with lush green surroundings.

According to the sources, the 2-storey house will be demolished. Later, a house will be built according to Ganguly and his family’s liking. Ganguly is a family man and loves spending time at home, whenever he is free from his duties as BCCI President. Moreover, reports state that Ganguly will be co-owning the house with mother Nirupama, wife Dona, and daughter Sana. Earlier, a Gujarati business family owned the house. Soon after the news was public, Dada fans are excited to welcome him. Also, this is the first time Ganguly has bought such an expensive property in India. He owns a lavish 2 BHK in London.

“Along with my family members, I am happy to have my own home. Living centrally will also be convenient but it is a bit hard to leave a place where I have been living for 48 years.”
