Rajapaksa played a brilliant cameo at the last to take to the respectable total. It was fine bowling performance by the Australian’s bowlers, Adam Zampa being the standout performer. Chasing a par total, Australia got a flying start. They scored 63 runs in the powerplay without the loss of any wicket. In the middle they did lose some wickets, but Steve Smith managed to take Australia to the winning side, quite comfortably. But the biggest positive for Australia is that David Warner is back in form. He scored 65 runs of 42 balls. He was quite out of form for some time now, but now back in form with the classy innings he played.

Adam Zampa was adjudged as the Man of the Match. He bowled a brilliant spell today in which he gave only 12 runs in 4 overs and taken 2 wickets also. Also gets the big wicket of in form Asalanka also. He was just unplayable in the middle overs, and used his experience to provide his team a victory.
So this is a strong performance from Australia in all the departments. And the biggest positive for them is the return of form for David Warner. Sri Lanka had a poor batting day. Their bowlers have not much runs on the board today to defend.
