Pant also became the first wicketkeeper batter to post a hundred and a fifty in the same Test vs England in England, apart from becoming the first wicketkeeper batter to manage 200-plus runs against England in England in a Test match.

5. Bumrah becomes the highest wicket taking bowler against England in a Test Series

Firstly, Bumrah the batter hammered England pacer Stuart Broad for 29 runs in an over to own the new world record of scoring most runs in an over in Tests. Broad conceded 35 runs in total including 6 extras in the over. Secondly, Jasprit Bumrah‘s haul of 3-68 in the first innings helped him become the Indian bowler with most wickets during a Test series in England (23).
