According to a official source, the 10 IPL franchises have time till November 15th to submit the list of retained players in their respective franchises. According to what is known, the Indian Cricket board, BCCI has started planning for the upcoming IPL, and the mini-auction will take place in Bengaluru during the third week of December. Additionally, it has been learned that the pay ceiling may be raised for the upcoming season from Rs 90 to Rs 95 crore.
Suspected List of retained players in IPL
After submitting their list of retained players, Franchises can, however, bid on players at the mini-auction using both the money they have left over from the previous mega-auction and the money they get after releasing the players they wish to return to the auction pool.
Most IPL franchises are anticipated to maintain 15 of their core players and release the remaining players so they can enter the auction with at least 10 crore, if not more.
