The ICC has announced the fixtures for T20 World Cup 2022. T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in Australia. And India start their tournament with a blockbuster match against Pakistan. India and Pakistan once again, clubbed in the same group. India will face Pakistan at Melbourne Cricket Ground on 23rd October. Notably, the finalists of last year- Australia and New Zealand will kick off the 2022 T20 World Cup from 22nd October. India vs Pakistan on October 23 in Melbourne
Rohit Sharma and his men starts their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign against arch rivals Pakistan on 23rd October. Melbourne Cricket Ground will lit up and the atmosphere should be eye catching. India and Pakistan last played a World Cup Match in Australia in the 2015 edition at the Adelaide Oval. The eighth edition of the global tournament will begin from October 16. The tournament will be played across seven venues in Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

India knocked out from the T20 World Cup 2021 in Super 12 Stage
India were knocked out of the T20 World Cup 2021 in the Super 12 stages of the competition. India finished third in the Group 2 and failed to qualify for the semi-finals. India lost both of their key matches against Pakistan and New Zealand. India’s 10 wicket loss to Pakistan was the first time that Indian has lost to Pakistan in a limited over World Cup Match. The Australian side won the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup, beating New Zealand in the finals.
