LA Knight Gives His View on The Pitch Black Match
There is a lot of uncertainty regarding what the fans can expect from the Pitch Black Match. The match will be the first of its kind in the history of the WWE. Bray Wyatt and LA Knight have been engrossed in a unique yet captivating feud on WWE SmackDown. LA Knight recently appeared on an episode of ‘WWE After The Bell.’ Knight disclosed what he expects from the Pitch Black Match.
He stated, “Pitch Black Match, it’s something new in the making. There was something to the point of, ‘I don’t know what the hell this is, what the hell this is going to be.’ Every indication I’ve been given is that this is going to be a kick ass street fight and be kind of in the dark. I don’t know what the lighting is going to be, how it’s going to work, what other kind of factors or elements are going to come into play. The Prospect That Is LA Knight
LA Knight was formerly known as Eli Drake. He was a heavily entertaining and impeccable talent back at NXT. After being called up, he has consistently delivered gripping promos on SmackDown. After being called up to the main roster, he has struck a chord with the WWE Universe despite being a ‘heel’. LA Knight’s show glimpses of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin on the mic. Is A Return Of The Fiend On The Cards?
The match itself is heavily anticipated by wrestling fans. Bray Wyatt returned to the company in October, 2022. It was a jaw-dropping return after months of teasing Wyatt’s return through various easter eggs on weekly television programming.
Wyatt was previously let go in 2021, under Vince McMahon’s tenure as Chairman of the WWE where talent releases became a common occurrence. Triple H was reported to be determined to bring back Wyatt to the WWE.
On the recent edition of SmackDown, we saw traits of the old Wyatt. During his promo, a QR code popped up on the television. Once scanned, the code directed the audience to an old video of Wyatt revealing himself as The Fiend. The Pitch Black Match provides the perfect environment, ambience and platform for the grand return of The Fiend to the WWE.
