Haas unveils car livery for the 2024 F1 season

Haas officially became the first Formula 1 team to unveil their new livery for the 2024 season.

Haas Livery Returns To Black

In contrast to the white and red appearance of the Haas, the 2024 edition of the car is dominantly black with shades of white and red. This change in colour has mainly been done to accommodate the colours of their sponsor, MoneyGram. MoneyGram became the title sponsor of Haas after signing a multi-year agreement last year during the US Grand Prix. With such sponsorships, the American outfit could finally the financial budget cap this year.

Guenther Steiner Reaction

Haas Team Principal Guenther stated, “I obviously share everyone’s enthusiasm around the livery unveil, not least as it’s a checkpoint in the pre-season calendar which means we’re another step closer to doing the thing we actually want to be doing — and that’s go racing. I like the livery, it’s undoubtedly a more elevated and modernized look which is fitting as we move into a new era alongside MoneyGram as our title partner.

New Season, New Expectations

It remains to be seen how improved the VF-23 is in comparison to the Haas from the 2022 Formula 1 season. Additionally, Haas has a new drivers line-up for the 2024 season. Mick Schumacher could not convince Guenther Steiner and Haas to re-new his contract. Eventually, Schumacher had to make way for the return of Nico Hulkenberg.

Nico Hulkenberg joins Kevin Magnussen and forms the official driver’s line-up for Haas in the 2024 season. We can expect to see the duo during the pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
