AJ Styles out of action after suffering horror injury

Two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles recently suffered a major setback at a recent WWE house show.

AJ Styles had the misfortune at a WWE live show

AJ Styles and the O.C. had a scheduled tag team match against The Judgement Day at a recent WWE house show at Hershey, Pennsylvania. At a certain point in the match, Finn Balor of The Judgement Day threw Styles over the top rope. ‘The Phenomenal One’ clearly had an awkward landing and was soon seen limping on one leg. Styles immediately tagged out and was attended to by WWE officials and medical staff. The referee soon-after threw up the ‘X’ sign, signaling a serious and legitimate injury. As soon as the match ended, his team-mates – Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and ‘Michin’ Mia Yim were spotted attending to Styles. Fans were left anxious without any update on Styles’ injury. An Update From AJ Styles Himself

AJ Styles himself provided an update to the WWE Universe on social media. He was unfortunately the bearer of devastating news. Styles reported that he has broken his ankle after the recent mishap at the live show. He found solace in the fact that no surgery was required. But he unfortunately stated that this would be his longest tenure out of in-ring action. Despite no requirement of a surgery, the recovery process is a long one. But he made sure to reassure fans that he’s doing okay and appreciated the various well wishes that came his way.

It seems unlikely that AJ Styles will make it to WrestleMania, which is just around the corner. It is additionally left to be seen how his faction, the O.C. comprising Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and ‘Michin’ Mia Yim adapts to this injury.
