Edge returns to WWE RAW, challenges Finn Balor to ‘I Quit’ match at WWE Extreme Rules

Will this be the end of the Judgement Day?

WWE Superstar and legend Edge returns to WWE and has challenged Finn Balor to an “I Quit Match” at the upcoming Extreme Rules event.

WWE’s one of the most loved and revered, the Edge returned to Monday Night RAW and absolutely blasted through Finn Balor’s the Judgement Day before challenging him to a match at the WWE Extreme Rules.

Edge rescues The Original Bro

Matthew Riddle’s win over Damian Priest in the main event of the 9/26 episode of WWE RAW was followed by the Judgment Day’s brutal 4-on-1 attack on The Original Bro, with Priest eventually hitting him with a South of Heaven.

Just then, Edge’s theme music hit and fans erupted. The WWE Hall of Famer charged down to the ring to a loud ovation from his home country fans in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Edge instantly took down Priest with his iconic Spear before staring down Dominik Mysterio, who betrayed The Rated R-Superstar at Clash at the Castle. Ripley was pulled out of the ring by Dominik Mysterio as Edge nailed Balor with a Spear.

Edge’s Challenge Fin Balor to ‘I Quit’ match at Extreme Rules

Edge then grabbed the microphone to address Balor and Judgment Day injuring his leg with a steel chair earlier this month.

“You have tried to finish me over and over, but I always come back,” Edge told Judgment Day in a passionate promo.

“Even if it takes nine years, I always come back! I never quit. And Finn, I have a challenge for you. For the first time ever, Edge vs. Finn Balor in an I Quit Match at Extreme Rules.”

With this match, Edge hopes to destroy the very group he founded, The Judgment Day, while Bálor is out to end Edge’s career.

The fans surely can’t wait for both Edge and Fin Balor to fight it out at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sat., Oct. 8, 2022, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
