BCCI names Indian squad for the multi-format tour to Bangladesh

On October 31, BCCI named Indian squad for the multi-format series against Bangladesh in December. While India will first face off against New Zealand in the bilateral series, commencing on November 18. In which a list of star players will be rested. Hence, Hardik Pandya and Shikhar Dhawan will take the charge of captaincy.       

Rohit Sharma will resume as national captain in Bangladesh. While KL Rahul will have the vice-captain duties. Moreover, Rajat Patidar and Rahul Tripathi have been awarded a spot in the ODI team for their impressive performances during the white-ball clashes between India A and New Zealand A.

Rohit Sharma (C), KL Rahul (vc), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant(wk), KS Bharat (wk), R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Mohd. Siraj, Mohd. Shami, Umesh Yadav.

ODI Squad for Bangladesh tour:

Rohit Sharma (C), KL Rahul (vc), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Shreyas Iyer, Rahul Tripathi, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, W Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Mohd. Shami, Mohd. Siraj, Deepak Chahar, Yash Dayal.

Fixtures

India is all set to tour Bangladesh after seven long years. The tour comprises three ODIs and two Test matches will, and commence on December 4.
