He continued to be the front-runner and quickly won the set. In the second set, neither player was able to break the other’s serve, despite Hurkacz having a set point in the tenth game. Even though he missed an earlier chance, he was still able to win the set in the next tie-break. Hurkacz had a couple break point opportunities in the third set, but it ultimately proceeded to a tie-break, which the Croat won 6-4, 6-7(2), 7-6. (5).
