Aurelien Tchouameni has decided to play for the Spanish giants Real Madrid from next season after he rejected the offers from Liverpool and Chelsea. This leaves the English clubs frustrated as a few weeks ago they really considered it a genuine possibility that Tchouameni would come to England and will play for either of these 2 teams. Both clubs did everything to sign him and made him a very respectable offer but the change in event happened when Mbappe chose to stay at PSG. This was a shock to Real Madrid and hence they decided that they cannot fail to sign Tchouameni too. So they raised their offer in the end and went all out on him with the money that they saved by not signing Mbappe.

Tchouameni will sign a 5-year contract with Real Madrid and the transfer fee of this deal is expected to be above 80 Million Euros+ bonuses, which is of course a lot for a 22-year-old but the Frenchman can prove that he is certainly worth the money. Now one of the reasons that the midfielder did not join Chelsea or Liverpool was because these 2 clubs couldn’t offer him a lot of game time whereas the Spanish club told him that he would be the heart of their midfield in a few seasons when Kroos and Modric leave the club.
Tchouameni has been called up by France for the upcoming Nation’s League games this June and so during that, the footballing world could really see the talent that the Frenchman has. All in all, the La Liga Champions have now both Camavinga and Tchouameni who are the future of midfield in the French National football team, so they are perfectly placed to replace the iconic duo of Kroos and Modric in a couple of seasons.
