The Erling Haaland saga is not set to be a long journey throughout the transfer window as today both the German and English Media have claimed that Haaland and Manchester City is a done deal. The club has reportedly agreed on personal terms with him and now City will inform Borussia Dortmund that they will pay his 75 Million Release clause in the coming days in order to get this deal completed as soon as possible. City have won the race to sign Haaland amongst the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich who were interested in signing him over the last few months. But now Haaland will play for the club that his father once played for.

City have possibly got a potential Ballon d’Or winner and one of the best strikers in the world. He has been compared to the likes of the Brazilian Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic cause his goal conversion rate with Dortmund in Bundesliga and in the Champions League is simply sensational. Haaland has scored 85 goals and provided 23 assists in just 88 games for Dortmund and if he can produce these numbers with them, Pep can absolutely make him the best player not only in the Premier League but in the world.
But now there’s going to be more pressure on Manchester City to win the Champions League and the Premier League than ever. Everyone would consider it that this is it and Haaland would be the final piece of their Champions League success as they haven’t had an outright centre forward and hence they have been playing without a number 9 in the last few years. Now they’ve got arguably the best one in world football so there can be no excuses for Pep as the expectation would skyrocket for every single game they play. All in all, Haaland has made a really good choice to join City cause both he and the team would be giving it all to win the Champions League.
