Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno is on the move away from the Emirates this season, with reports stating that Premier League newcomers Fulham are actively trying to sign the German. The Cottages have looked for options elsewhere as the Leno talks stall, and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano states that Fulham are now looking at Barcelona back-up goalkeeper Neto as a suitable option.
The German shot-stopper has recently fallen out of favour at the Emirates Stadium due to the presence of Aaron Ramsdale, who joined last summer and made an immediate impact in Mikel Arteta’s side. Arsenal have recently signed New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner as a new backup option for Ramsdale, so there isn’t much to lose by selling the player.
According to CBS Sports, Bernd Leno wants Arsenal to lower their asking price so that he can complete a move to Fulham. Arsenal are reportedly asking for £15 million for the German, with the Cottagers currently offering less than half of that. Negotiations have now come to a halt, with Leno urging the Gunners to change their stance.

As stated earlier, FC Barcelona goalkeeper Neto is also on the list of goalkeeper options of the Cottages, as the Catalunya club are looking to allow the Brazilian shot-stopper to leave 12 months before the expiration of his contract.
However, it should be noted that Neto wishes to return to Serie A, and Napoli is interested in signing him. He spent a total of 6 years in the Italian top-flight, sharing his time with Fiorentina and Juventus.
Fulham have contacted the player’s entourage in the hopes of reaching an agreement on personal terms, but he is still awaiting an offer from Napoli. Neto’s departure appears to be imminent, and Barcelona should have no trouble offloading the out-of-favour Brazilian goalkeeper.
In the ongoing summer transfer window, the Catalan giants have already completed four signings. Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Franck Kessie, and Andreas Christensen have all signed new contracts with Barcelona, while Ousmane Dembele has been re-signed on a new deal. They must now concentrate on selling players, with Neto at the top of the list.
