Indian skipper Rohit Sharma finally got some time off from cricket as he was rested from the ongoing South Africa T20 series. Coach Rahul Dravid has emphasized the need for rest for all-format players including Rohit. However, from his time off Rohit has still managed to go back-to cricket in some way. A video of Rohit Sharma playing gully cricket was shared on social media. Hitman, near his residence, was playing cricket with some teenagers. The skipper smashed some good shots without disappointing the boys. Rohit played a straight shot, with the kids attempting to stop the ball. However, Rohit played a very fine shot and was all smiles at failed attempts to stop the ball. He looked pretty chilled out reliving childhood days when he played at the roadside with friends.
Earlier, Rohit went on a small vacation to the Maldives with his wife Ritika, and daughter Samaira.
