Chasing 198, Mumbai Indian’s new young gun Dewald Brevis hit consecutive 4 sixes in a row in the 9th over. He hit one six for a distance of 112m which was the biggest six of the season so far. Brevis smashed a total of 29 runs from Rahul Chahar‘s over completing 50 run stands with Tilak Varma. He hit the second ball for four and sent the next 4 balls into the stands. With those massive sixes, Mumbai reached 92/2 at the end of 9 overs taking their run rate over 10. Dewald was purchased for Rs. 3 crore this year in the IPL auction.

Brevis misses his Half-century
Dewald Brevis made 49 in just 25 balls hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes with a strike rate of 196. Known as Baby AB for his similar batting with the legendary south african cricketer Ab de Villiers. Dewald Brevis captured the limelight during the U19 World Cup where he amassed 506 runs in six matches for South Africa in the competition. He went on to score two centuries and three fifties.
