RR vs RCB: Live Score and Update

Yuzvendra Chahal will be playing against his former franchise for the 5th time!

RR vs RCB: RCB blow RR away!

Royal Challengers Bangalore have won by 112 runs! This a massive win and the table have moved like tectonic plates. RCB rise up to the fifth spot! Rajasthan batting never started going in! RR has fallen from 0.640 to 0.140!! Rajasthan Royals have lost 6 of their last 8 games and would depend on other results!

Ashwin walks back for a diamond duck!

Anuj Rawat flicks the ball back on the stumps and catches Ashwin inches short of his crease! They also Dhruv Jurel a couple of overs ago!! Royal Challengers Bangalore are eyeing a comfortable victory!! Hetmyer is was having his fun and looking to counter-attack and he falls too! RR are 59/8 in 10 overs. They need 113 runs more, its about wickets anyway!

RR vs RCB: RR lose half the side in powerplay!

Parnell traps Root in front of the wicket with a slow yorker! Root reviews but ball-tracking shows three reds and ball crashing in the leg stump! RR in deep trouble! They are 28/5 after 6 overs. Need 144 runs from 84 balls!

Impact Player walks back!

Devdutt Padikkal walks back for a run-a-ball 4 after flicking it straight to mid-wicket. A little too much of a bottom-hand coming into play and hence he fails to keep it grounded and it just carries to Siraj who takes a sharp low catch at short mid-wicket! RR 20/4 now!

RR are three down!!

The Royals from Bangalore are off to a flying start! Samson attempts an across-the-line heave after Parnell goes short. Rawat calls for a top edge that rises high in the air, lands below, and completes a pretty spectacular grab. Ex-RCB, Devdutt Padikkal walks out to bat, he’s the Impact Sub replacing Yuzvendra Chahal! RCB on top, RR need a partnership!

Both Openers gone for a duck!

Just the start RCB were after; just what RR did not need! Their in-form opening pair didn’t even open their account. First Jaiswal drilled one straight to Kohli off Siraj. Now Butller thrashes a short outside-off delivery straight to Siraj in cover-point region! A horror start!! Joe Root is out to bat for the first time in IPL!

RR vs RCB: Rawat’s cameo fires RCB past 170!

That’s a lovely cameo by Anuj Rawat as RCB finish with 171/5!  The Royal Challengers would accept this score with both hands! The pitch was certainly keeping low and after the powerplay, it felt 150-160 would be par on this wicket! Anuj Rawat’s blazing finish has pushed them to 171! Faf (55 of 44) and Maxi (54 off 33) too struck half-centuries to carry the innings in the middle phase!

The target for Rajasthan Royals is 172 runs from 120 balls. The target will be challenging on a wicket which hasn’t been very conducive of stroke-play! All eyes would be on Yashasvi Jaiswal give them a good start! They might look to knock-off 50-60 runs in the powerplay given that their top-order is in form! It’s easier said than done tough!! Will RR chase this?.. or will RCB defend this??.. Let’s find out!!

RR vs RCB: Faf notches yet another fifty!

KM Asif claims his second wicket dismissing Faf for 55! Maxwell has induced some momentum in the RCB innings with his 26-ball 41! Faf kept things going at the other end! RCB are 120/2 after 15 overs. How many can they score in these last five?

Asif takes out Kohli!

Kohli departs for a 19-ball 18! A good slower delivery by Asif to outfox Virat Kohli. Kohli advances but only manages to spoon an easy catch to Jaiswal at extra cover! RR break the opening stand immediately after the powerplay and RCB are 50/1 after 7 overs.

RR vs RCB: Superb powerplay bowling by RR!

The pitch looks dry and so far, the batters have not had a lot of pace and bounce to work with. Getting in Zampa for Boult could prove a masterstroke for the Royals here! Their bowlers and fielders have kept it tight and have not allowed both the batters to run away! Royal Challengers Bangalore are 42/0 after 6 overs. 150 should be the par score on this deck!
