RCB vs KKR: Live Score and Update
RCB vs KKR: KKR end losing streak!
The game was signed, sealed and delivered to KKR when Dinesh Karthik holed out a deep mid-wicket. The KKR spinners have done the trick for them. KKR wanted to bat first. Nitish Rana was confident at the toss that his spinners can defend a total and they didn’t disappoint him. RCB fumble again. They came out guns blazing but once spin came, they lost wickets at regular intervals. Unlike RCB, KKR held on to their chances and that made the difference in the end. KKR win by 21 runs.
RCB vs KKR: Req Rate is 14 RPO now!
Suyash Prabhudessai is runout in trying to run a two. While DK kept running, Prabhudessai wasn’t so confident. Started, stopped and then he had no chance to make his ground. RCB lose 6th wicket. Hasaranga replaces Prabhudessai in the middle.
Equation: 56 runs | 24 balls
Kohli Lomror back in the hut!
The 55-run stand was releasing all the pressure built by the KKR spinners. Lomror took all the pressure off Virat Kohli by going for those big hits till he mistimed one and looped an easy catch to Russell. The first ball of the next over saw Venky Iyer taking a superb catch to dismiss Virat Kohli for 54. Again untimely wickets for RCB, but welcome strike for KKR! RCB 121/5 after 13 overs. DK and Prabhudessai at crease!
RCB vs KKR: RCB three-down in powerplay!
Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost three wickets in the powerplay including Faf and Maxwell. KKR are off to another great start with the ball. Virat Kohli is at the crease and he has Mahipal Lomror at the other end. RCB 58/3 after the powerplay. They need 143 runs in 84 balls.
RCB vs KKR: Rinku-Weise power KKR to 200!
Kolkata Knight Riders finish with exactly 200. Nitish Rana played a blinder and Rinku Singh with Weise finished it. Both dugouts will have mixed feelings here! RCB bowled well in overs 7-15 but failed to finish well.
The target for Royal Challengers Bangalore is 201 runs from 120 balls. This is a very easy target considering the Chinnaswamy pitch but if KKR’s spinners come to party, they can spice up this second-half.
RCB vs KKR: KKR need to go big in the last five!
KKR have failed to capitalize on a great start. Roy helped them to a flying start but they haven’t backed it well. Rana has hit a four and a six and Iyer has hit a couple of boundaries but most of the runs have come in singles. KKR only managed 65 runs in the middle phase. Knight Riders have 8 wickets in hand and must go bang bang in these last 5! KKR are 131/2. Can they get to 200?
RCB vs KKR: The struggle is over for Jagadeesan!
27 off 29 at Chinnaswamy Stadium can certainly cost your team the game. Poor Jagadeesan never got going and was struggling to score! He succumbs to pressure and tries to pull a slower bouncer but finds the fielder at deep mid-wicket.
And now Roy is cleaned-up with a leg-stump yorker. Set him up with wide yorkers and then when he shuffled, he slammed the yorker. KKR are 88/2 after 10 overs. Royal Challengers have crawled back in the last 4 overs by only giving 22 runs and removing both openers.
RCB vs KKR: KKR off to a flier!
Jason Roy is turning on the heat for KKR. This has been their best powerplay of the season and the best thing is that they haven’t lost a wicket! Jason Roy smoked Shahbaz Ahmed for 4 sixes in 5 balls in the final over of the powerplay that included a hattrick of sixes. Narayan Jagadeesan is taking his time, has hit a couple of convincing drives but needs to improve his strike rate now. KKR are 66/0 after 6 overs. A batting beauty and a high-scoring entertainer on cards!

Toss Update: Royal Challengers Bangalore have won the toss and opted to field!
Build-up..
The 36th game of the IPL 2024 will be played at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Royal Challengers have won four of their first seven games this season, putting them in fifth position in the points standings. They come into this game after defeating the Rajasthan Royals by seven runs in their last encounter.
Knight Riders have 2 wins their last seven games. They are eighth in the points standings. They lost their previous game against the Chennai Super Kings after failing to chase down a 236-run target.
WHAT TO EXPECT?…. The surface of Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium is typically batter-friendly. Given the nature of the surface, a high-scoring match is likely. As a result, the captain who wins the toss will want to bowl first, and pursuing a target may prove to be the best option. The team batting first would want to put the opposition under pressure by accumulating a huge score.
