Indian Premier League debutants Gujarat Titans are taking on 2008 champions Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (May 29). Sanju Samson’s side features the Orange Cap holder Jos Buttler, who has scored 824 runs with four hundreds and four fifties so far in the tournament.
Rajasthan Royals find themselves in all sorts of trouble against Gujarat Titans. RR’s batting lineup fails to impress with Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan striking in quick succession for GT.Â

Hardik gets rid of Buttler
Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya seems in no mood to spare. Pandya in the first delivery of the thirteenth over, dismissed the well settled Rajasthan’s star performer of this season Jos Buttler over a thick outside edge into the hands of Wriddhiman Saha. Rajasthan are four wickets down and in deep deep trouble. Buttler seemed unhappy with his dismissal and threw his helmet and gloves in the fit of anger in the dugout.
After the conclusion of the 13th over, RR were 82 for four with Shimron Hetmyer and Ravichandran Ashwin in the middle. Earlier, RR won the toss and elected to bat. Both teams faced each other twice earlier this season, including Qualifier 1, with GT winning both games.
