Currently, Glenn Maxwell is playing in the T20I series against Sri Lanka in Australia. The hosts lead the five-match T20I series by 2-0 and need a solitary win to seal the series. The first T20I was a one-sided affair, but the second T20I between the two teams turned out to be a thriller. Sri Lanka almost pulled a rabbit out of the hat as the game went till the super over. Unfortunately for the Lankan lions, Nissanka and Shanaka’s heroics could not save them from another defeat. The Lankans have shown a fighting character against the winners of ICC T20 WC 2021 and would love to turn their potential to results in the remaining three matches.
