History was made in Ireland’s match against the Netherlands today as Irish seamer Curtis Campher grabbed 4 wickets in 4 consecutive deliveries. Absolutely running through the experienced Dutch middle-order, Campher became the first bowler to achieve the feat in T20 World Cup.
Curtis was the highlight of the show as he picked up four wickets in four deliveries against the Netherlands in a Group A, Round-1 match of the ICC T20 World Cup in Abu Dhabi. The seamer went on a wicket-taking spree and dismissed T20 veterans like Colin Ackermann, Ryan ten Doeschate, Scott Edwards, and Roelof van der Merwe in successive deliveries. He achieved this monumental feat in the 10th over of the Dutch innings. Campher started his wicket-taking spree by dismissing Ackerman caught behind. After that, he trapped ten Doeschate and Edwards in front of the wicket. He also cleaned up the stumps of van der Merwe and celebrated his 4-wicket haul in prime fashion.

The Netherlands had a sluggish start to their innings after the two early blows to their innings. However, Curtis Campher had other ideas.
